| Details: POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
， Analyze the positioning of Synthes¨ biomaterial products versus competition and identify strategies for differentiation leading to increased sales and market share.
， Identifying training needs and participate in the education of the sales force, operating room personnel and orthopedic surgeons such that the appropriate programs can be established that will grow biomaterial product sales against increasing competitive pressure.
， Submit reports on a timely basis to the appropriate level of management; reports include but not limited to monthly performance and activity, key trip reports, expense reports, new product opportunities and key competitive offering/performance.
， Develop promotional material that can be utilized by the sales force in their selling initiatives.
， Assist Product Managers in Trauma, Spine and CMF in assessing budgets.
， Works with the appropriate regulatory and product development personal.
， Travel estimates are 50%.
， Know and follow all laws and policies that apply to one's job, and maintain the highest levels of professionalism, ethics and compliance at all times.
， Diligently participate in our compliance program-related activities as denoted by your supervisor or our Chief Compliance Officer.
， Performs other special projects and functions as assigned by Synthes management.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
， BS in a field relating to biotechnology or the healthcare industry. .
， 2+ years of professional experience in medical device sales
， Experience in a clinical or operating room environment
， Demonstrated success in building and managing strong relationships with surgeons, OR
staff, and hospital personnel.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
， Knowledge and experience with new product development is essential
， Excellent leadership, interpersonal skills, presentation and organizational skills.
， Excellent oral and written communication skills.
， Self-motivated and service-oriented.
， Ability to work as part of a team.
